Postpartum offerings

Tailored to fit your family’s unique needs

Supportive in-home doula care

Beginning at $45/hr.

  • Virtual consult to get to know each other and find out if we are a good fit. During this time, we will discuss your history (if desired) and what type of care you anticipate would be most supportive for you & your family.

  • This part usually looks different for everyone. I will be there to hold space for any feelings surrounding the birth. We will check in on your overall emotional well-being and affirm your experience. During this time, I like to find out what would be most supportive for you in the moment— whether it be to help with baby care, prepare a meal or snack, play with a sibling, encourage you to rest, wash dishes, actively listen, all while helping to create a healing/safe environment.

  • I am available to you via text/email/phone during regular business hours for anything that comes up and for any resources and referrals that may be needed throughout your postpartum journey & beyond.

  • I am trained in lactation support and will help you find out what is working/not working. I can offer helpful latching techniques and/or support surrounding the feeding method of your choice.

  • I provide newborn care so you can rest and heal. This can include: changing, bathing, babywearing, sleeping, feeding, soothing, and more. I am also there to encourage you and your family throughout the postpartum process. Trust me, you’re doing an amazing job.

  • I can provide light housework, such as laundry, dish washing, and tidying. My intention is to create a peaceful and calming environment so you can focus on bonding with your baby.

  • During my visit, I can prepare snacks & light meals that promote healing & blood building during the postpartum period. Some of my favorite nourishing meals include: overnight oats, warming bowls, healing broths, & herbal teas. We can discuss any dietary needs and restrictions during our initial consult.

  • You will also have access to my extensive list of local referrals including IBCLCs, pelvic floor therapists, psychiatric care, family therapists, birth control information, chiropractors, & local support groups (NELA). If I do not have an answer, I can always connect you with someone who does.

Meal prep & delivery

  • From my kitchen to yours. Choose from a menu of nourishing and restorative foods and herbal teas to aid you in this transformative season.

  • Healing bone broths, vegan mineral broths, warming bowls, hearty soups and stews, herbal teas and milks for sipping, and delicious snacks to support lactation.

  • Light meal & snack prep is available for no extra cost to my clients while supporting you in your home. You are welcome to purchase groceries and offer recipe suggestions or I can work with what you already have. Additional supportive meals cooked outside of this can be delivered and will be billed hourly along with reimbursement for groceries.

support

Only available to postpartum clients.

  • Virtual or in-person to get to know each other and find out if we are a good fit. During this meeting, we will talk about your history and the type of support that would compliment your birth journey.

  • We will have the opportunity for two prenatal visits: one around 28 weeks & the last at 36 weeks. During these conversations, we will dive deep into your ideal preferences for your labor & birth. We will also tap into any emotions surrounding your birth. Partners/support persons will get involved too! At 36 weeks, we solidify your preferences, make a plan for your place of birth, when to call me, & talk about any fears & expectations leading up to the birth.

  • I will be available to you via text/email/phone during regular business hours for anything that comes up & for any resources & referrals that may be needed throughout your pregnancy.

  • I will be on-call for your birth starting at 38 weeks until the birth of your baby. A backup doula will be provided during this time in case of emergencies or previous engagements that we would discuss ahead of time.

  • Post-birth, we will meet one final time for your postpartum visit—unless you have a package with additional postpartum care. This typically happens 3-7 days after your birth. My intentions during this visit will be to help integrate the birth experience & to find out what would be most supportive in your transition. I will check in with how lactation/feeding is going & provide referrals & resources if needed. It’s also a time for admiring your new baby & acknowledging all of your hard work!

  • Professional birth photography can be provided for an additional investment.
